Mumbai/Delhi, May 22: Continuing its free-declivity for the fifth day in a row, the rupee today set a new low of 55.47 before ending at 55.40 even as finance preacher Pranab Mukherjee said the government was alluring steps to arrest the volatility in the forex market.
“The sway is taking a series of steps. However, managing the rupee is furnish-related.... There is a lot of volatility,” Mukherjee said.
